BEN EBERLE
Executive Vice President & Director of Preconstruction
Ben graduated from college in 1995 and subsequently moved to Nashville the same year. Ben’s entry into the T.W. Frierson family begin in the fall of 1997. Ben began his career as a Project Architect with T.W. Frierson’s in-house design team, Design Constructors, Inc. Utilizing both conceptual and detailed architectural skill sets, the evolution to the construction side of the business was inevitable and Ben began his project management career in 2002. As Vice President, Ben managed the preconstruction department and oversaw estimating, scheduling, contract negotiations and management of the project from concept to design. On January 1, 2021 Ben Eberle was promoted to Executive Vice President.
DAVID BOCKIAN
Senior Vice President & Preconstruction Support
David graduated from University of Tennessee in 1983 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, and later earned a Master of Building Construction from the University of Florida. In 1991, as a Registered Architect and a licensed Contractor, David joined T.W. Frierson Contractor to blend these skills and continue to develop the design build side of the organization. With a unique background in construction Project Management and industrial design, he is uniquely capable to work with many entities to take a project from conception to fruition. In 1994, David was one of the founders of Design Constructors, Inc. This Architectural firm was formed to work with Clients to develop projects from the start, and develop design, budget and schedule concurrently in the design build project delivery method. These skills evolved to a position as Senior Vice President of T.W. Frierson in the year 2002, and one of the pre-construction project development captains.

MATT TAYLOR
Vice President of Operations/Project Director
Matt is responsible for oversight of the project management teams and all aspects of project operations. His involvement will ensure that T.W. Frierson projects meet the expectations and needs of our clients. He is the liaison from the field to the office teams, and upper management. He is also responsible for training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Managing quality assurance programs
- Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost
SEAN FOOTE, RA
Director of Architecture & Design
Registered Architect: GA, AL, FL, MS, TN, AZ, TX, SC
Sean brings 30 years of experience in the architecture, design and construction industry and is responsible for design and production of construction documents. He works with pre-construction management from early pricing through schematic design, design development documents, consultant and team project coordination, detailing, and construction document production. He then works with the project manager and superintendent on construction management through project delivery.

CRAIG POLANCICH
Senior Design Project Manager
Craig brings 20 years of experience in architecture, design and construction industry and is responsible for design and production construction documents for industrial, institutional and commercial facilities. He works with pre-construction management from early pricing through schematic design, design development documents, consultant and team project coordination, detailing, construction document production. He then works with the project manager and superintendent on construction management through project delivery.

ANDY ZIMMERMAN
Project Executive
Andy brings 26 years of experience in the construction industry and was a LEED Accredited Professional for many years. He has extensive experience in project management and is responsible for the daily management, coordination and oversight of construction projects including successful project planning, execution, and closure. He plans and directs all construction activities and administrative processes in order to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget. He is also responsible for objectives related to estimating, bidding, contract administration, and schedule generation and facilitation.
JOE SLATE
Senior Superintendent
Joe brings 42 years of experience with T.W. Frierson and will be on the job full-time from the start of work until the project is completed. His duties include the following:
- Supervise field employees
- Coordinate the subcontractors
- Schedule inspections by governmental agencies
- Keep daily records of weather, work accomplished, workmen on job, and other important details
- Coordinate with the architect and owner
Monitor and enforces safety rules
JEFF WAGGONER
Superintendent
Jeff brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He provides on-site leadership and overall project coordination, working closely with the client, subcontractors and the design team. He has strong communication and organizational skills and emphasizes a high standard on safety, quality and professionalism. Jeff will be on the job site full time from the start of work until the project is completed.
MICHAEL MASSEY
Vice President of Field Operations
Michael began his career at T.W. Frierson in 1986 and brings nearly 40 years of experience in the construction industry. He is currently responsible for managing all TWF superintendents, field personnel and field operations. Michael is responsible for planning, organizing and evaluating construction projects according to the assigned schedule and specifications. He prepares these schedules and monitors the work progress against the alloted budget. He closely monitors the variances in material and labor in coordination with the field supervisors and project managers so that the budget is maintained. He conducts meetings regularly and implements various quality control programs to reach the required standards, as well as making sure that all the cost and production targets are achieved by adhering to the health and safety regulations.
NATHAN HEPPLER
Corporate EHS Manager
With 15 years of experience, Nathan manages the company’s environmental, health, and safety program. His responsibilities include:

Providing insight in construction, legal policy, and standard safety practices based on state, federal, and company policies

Collaborating with project superintendents on safety related issues

Administering event investigation on near misses, incidents, and injuries;

Developing job hazard analysis with project superintendents and employees;

Conducting weekly safety audits on job sites and equipment

Participating in work planning and execution to ensure safety and compliance;
